    Hello Teelow,
You made your site simple yet elegant. I see that you have a wide variety of interests and observations here!
Now is a good time to learn about the true God, Jehovah, and find out what His plans are for us. "The land is swollen with murder. The city is bloated with injustice. They all say, 'God has forsaken the country. He doesn't see anything we do.' Well, I do see, and I'm not feeling sorry for any of them. They're going to pay for what they've done." (Ezekiel 9:9-10) (The Message)

Worthwhile Warning To All Seekers of Truth!:

You err in your use of that passage: verse 9 reads, "Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is filled with blood, and the city of perversion;" (etc.)

This is a reference specifically to Israel and to try to apply to our times and country is a perversion of interpretive principles.

My Dad once said, "Anyone can get the bible to say anything they want it to."  This is a classic example.  To you it says what you want it to say.  To me, it says plainly what it was/is intented to say.

Are there places where the OT is prophetic and applies to today?  Clearly, the answer is yes.  But God makes it equally plain when that is the case, when He intends us to understand and interpret and apply it that way.  That is not the case in this passage.  Is there a principle here that does apply to today?  Certainly, but only as general principles: sin, evil, and violence have their price.

Confusion reigns when interpretive techniques are improperly applied, when we apply interpretive technique as we please instead of allowing the context to determine the correct interpretive approach.

One quick way to twist Scripture is to use a limited portion of a passage or to take it out of context.

I already know Jehovah, and His plans are as clear as they need to be.  No one can know the exact time.  We are to recognise the signs.  They are evident.  Daniel and Revelations make clear what we need to know of our times and the End Times without perverting the Scriptures to suit our purposes.

And End-to-End it is all about accepting by faith that Jesus Christ is the living Redeemer for a fallen mankind.  That His sacrifice on the cross was sufficient for all of us.  Acts 4:12, Romans 5:8, 1 John 5:13-15.

May God bless us all with wisdom and understanding.
