Its been a while since I wrote on here!
Evolution... I've wondered a lot about that recent years...
Nothing does repreat itself except human folly: can we not give up this quest to explain everything? I may be Catholic and embrace reason as part of working in this world God has given... but I perfectly embrace God being beyond reason.
Evolution? Does it contradict God?
I believe the Bible.
7 literal days? Who knows.God did whatever we've got, present in every moment.
That's what matters, right? But you're the scientist, not me. This life is overwhelmingly full of God.
I think sometimes that we concentrate to much on trivial stuff such as wither it took God a literal 7 earth days to make earth or wither it took 7,000 earth years.
The bible does say that one day in heaven is as a thousand years here on earth, does it not? But why should we really care if we believe that God made earth?
It is a non starter to me.
On Al Gore, getting that man to tell the truth on something is like having to pull a tigers tooth, ya ain't gonna do it if it is still awake.

Give up on a literal interpretation of the Bible and you give up on knowing anything for sure and on there being any absolutes. Give up on a literal 7 days and you compromise the ability to trust anything the bible teaches, including whether God even exists. That is why it is so important to me.
Well now, if Al Gore really said that, we just may have one thing in common after all - but only one.
